While writing stories for One Day, I moonlit as a production assistant on the award-winning podcast, Changing Course. During the second season, I worked on investigative projects from pitch to publish: archival research, pulling great takes, editing, mixing, and honing my amateur sound design skills.
In February 2023, I produced an audio documentary I co-reported: “Remedying the underrepresentation of Native teachers.”

The list of the deceased for the All Souls Day service at Sacred Heart of Jesus Church was much longer than normal. Under the painting of St. Joseph, patron saint of a happy death, was an ofrenda, or altar, with 36 white crosses — one for each parishioner who has died from COVID-19.
